Take Home Kit - Valentine's Day Cookie Heart Box (Build +Decorate)

This Valentine’s Day, kids build something special. Literally.

Pick-up available: South Street Seaport - Next to Cafe Patoro (pick-ups from 8:30am - 10am daily)

Drop-off available: Drop off to doorman building in Lower Manhattan for $10 delivery fee

Kids will build and decorate a large heart-shaped cookie box, then fill it with candy and a handwritten note or drawing for someone they choose.

Along the way, kids will:

• follow steps to build something from start to finish

• plan, problem-solve, and make decisions on their own

• decorate freely (because it’s theirs)

There’s structure, guidance, and plenty of room to figure things out.

Kids will create their own finished heart cookie box — built, decorated, and ready to gift (or admire before eating).

This is really about planning, patience, and finishing what you start. The cookies are a bonus.

• Vanilla royal icing (the edible glue)

The vanilla shortbread cookies and vanilla royal icing are prepared in a kitchen licensed with the New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets. These items are not made in an allergen-free kitchen.
